Confocal Microscopy Workshop
The January 2023 workshop included an introductory session for those who are new to confocal microscopy, an overview of the imaging facility’s procedures and policies for new users, and a presentation on the unique capabilities of the Leica Stellaris 8 confocal microscope compared to other standard confocal technology. Speakers included Dr. Fiona Goggin (Professor, Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, UAF), and Dr. Qing Tang (Advanced Workflow Specialist, Confocal Life Science Division, Leica Microsystems Inc).
